If you’d like to build your preschooler’s math skills, make sure that you don’t forget about helping them learn months of the year.

WHY PRESCHOOLERS SHOULD LEARN MONTHS OF THE YEAR

Teaching your preschooler the months of the year is an important step in your preschooler understanding the concept of time. As the months go by your preschooler can see the visual changes that come along with the seasons. Watching the leaves change colors, seeing snow fall, and experiencing the heat of summer and the cold of winter all help your preschooler see the passing of time. Learning the names of all of the months also helps your preschooler’s memorization skills develop.
