If you’d like to build your preschooler’s life skills, make sure that you don’t forget about helping them go to bed.

WHY PRESCHOOLERS SHOULD GO TO BED
It’s important for your preschooler to develop a bed time routine that allows them to get plenty of sleep. Getting enough rest is important for your preschooler’s mental and physical health. When your preschooler gets at least 10 hours of sleep a day, their mind and bodies perform better. A lack of sleep can cause your preschooler to have trouble focusing, which can lead to a lack of motivation in school due to falling behind. Lack of sleep can also lead to behavioral issues, anxiety, and depression. Preschoolers move their bodies a lot throughout the day, so it’s important that they get enough sleep in order for their bodies to be able to keep up with activities that are important for their development.
