If you’d like to build your preschooler’s life skills, make sure that you don’t forget to help them increase their attention span.
WHY PRESCHOOLERS SHOULD INCREASE THEIR ATTENTION SPAN
Attention span has to do with your preschoolers ability to focus on a task. Typically, preschoolers attention spans are still relatively short. They can stay focused on a task for roughly six to twelve minutes, depending on the age of the child and the task at hand.
The ability to stay focused is a key part of learning. If your preschooler cannot stay focused, their learning will be effected, especially when they are school aged. Like many things, increasing attention span early in life is much easier then waiting and trying to build it later.
