If you’d like to build your preschooler’s life skills, make sure that you don’t forget about helping them learn how to get out of fire.
WHY PRESCHOOLERS SHOULD LEARN HOW TO GET OUT OF FIRE
Your preschooler needs to learn about fire safety, and practice skills that can help them get out of fire so they are better equipped to handle an emergency. It’s always good for your preschooler to be prepared just in case. Fires can spread rapidly and if your preschooler has practiced techniques to stay calm and learned what to do then they have a better chance of protecting themselves if someone else is not able to get to them immediately. It’s not easy thinking about our little ones having to handle an emergency, but it’s always best to prepare for the worst. Your preschooler also needs to understand that fire is not a toy, and they should never play with things like lighters, or matches.
