In order to be found online when someone searches for your preschool (i.e. they type in “butterflies preschool” or “preschool in Meridian” or “online preschool”) you need to get as much virtual real estate as possible. That way, when they type in a keyword phrase, your website will pop up toward the top results in Google!
In this step, we’ll show you how to create one important piece of virtual real estate: your actual business listing ON Google!
You Need a Google My Business Listing So You Can:
- Run Google Ads (should you want to) and connect them to your website
- Get Google Reviews for your preschool (you want these)
- Get shown at the top of Google when people search for preschool
If running a Local Preschool: This step is REQUIRED. Use your preschool’s address (YES even if it’s your home) so people can see how close your preschool is to them. Google will send you a postcard to verify the address.
If running an Online Preschool: This step is OPTIONAL but recommended. You can use your business address if you like or omit your address.
