If you’d like to build your preschooler’s math skills, make sure that you don’t forget about helping them to know numbers 0-10

WHY PRESCHOOLERS SHOULD KNOW NUMBERS 0-10

Learning numbers is an important first step in developing early math skills. Children need to learn numbers in order to begin to understand the concepts of biggest and largest, or less and more. Preschooler’s will usually first learn to point out a few numbers, and then learn to name those few numbers. By age 4 preschooler’s are usually able to name anywhere from 6-9 numbers, and have usually mastered naming 10 numbers by the age of 5.
