It’s important for your preschooler to learn how to follow directions in order to stay safe and learn to respect authority. When you preschooler is learning a new skill they need to be able to follow directions in order to understand the task. When directions aren’t followed the end result will likely not turn out as expected, leaving your preschooler disappointed, and potentially feeling like a failure. Your preschooler will need to be able to follow directions in kindergarten in order to benefit from their education.
