If you’d like to build your preschoolers life skills, make sure that you don’t forget about helping them eat healthy.

WHY PRESCHOOLERS SHOULD EAT HEALTHY

Eating healthy promotes proper physical and mental development in your preschooler. Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meats, and other proteins are essential for your preschoolers diet. Nutrients from these foods help your preschooler develop a strong immune system, support bone growth, and improve brain function. Eating healthy also helps your preschooler maintain a healthy weight, which can prevent health issues such as diabetes, or heart disease later in life.

For more information on the importance of your preschooler’s nutrition click here.
