If you’d like to build your preschooler’s math skills, make sure that you don’t forget about helping them categorize by size.

WHY PRESCHOOLERS SHOULD CATEGORIZE BY SIZE
Categorizing by size is an important step in your preschooler understanding concepts like more or less, full or empty, and big or small. When your preschooler categorizes something by it’s size, they have to use logical thinking to determine the differences in the objects, which builds critical thinking skills. Understanding differences and similarities is important in developing math skills, and even language skills because your preschooler will learn to describe things based off of their specific attributes.
